Land clearing in Texas is a very serious business. The trees that you are going remove might well be a hundred to a hundred-and-fifty years old, particularly if it is a commercial site. Once the land clearing is done, your land would require reliable yearly effort to keep it from growing up in brush and weeds. If you do not map well both for getting the clearing done and for keeping the land clear as such, then you probably wasting your time, your sizable venture and maybe a century-old forest. Think it over before you go for land clearing.
Exposed to the essentials, there are two ways to land clearing Texas: by hand or by machine. If in case you carry only got a small patch of ground to clear, and it does not really matter how long it takes, then by all ways do it by hand. You’ll save fairly a bit of money; get a pretty a lot of exercise and you’ll as well be treating yourself to quite learning in the process. If you in fact ever get finished, you almost certainly would choose to hire heavy equipment if there ever is a next time. Your biggest and single expense would probably be what you actually spend to take the trees down.
Formerly, when land has been cheap and money in short supply, the gash and stumps were just pushed up into a heap and left there for the ages. You could do this too, but it's always good to get rid of the trash for a number of understandable reasons. The best way to do this, if not you have access to some pretty huge and luxurious equipment like a smoke-less combustor or a large tub grinder, is to burn the whole thing you could and bury the rest.
While it is not totally impossible to burn tree stumps, it is very tricky, even with equipment, and most people favor to cut them from the stem of the tree after they have been felled, then bury them. Alternatively, you could tow them to be dumped anywhere else, where they could be put to some good uses, such as providing fish home at the bottom of your pond pumps, or as corrosion control in bare hollows and ditches. Of course, if you could get the dirt out the root ball, you might too burn them.
